Brandon got out for the ORC 18th annual Reindeer Romp. This race was dedicated to friend and fellow athlete Mark Catalano who unexpectedly passed away earlier this year.

With Ted being sidelined with a fractured arm, Dave Slavinski of Brielle Performance Center stepped up and raced with Brandon. Not only did Brandon get to experience the thrill of competition, he experienced the thrill of victory. Dave crossed the finish line pushing Brandon in 16:17 for first place overall! A great day and special thanks to Dave.

The light show can be very stimulating for people with visual impairments as it gives them an opportunity to sense the rhythm of the sound of music and sequence of synchronized holiday lights.

Ted suffered a fractured rib and arm in a bike crash. Luckily Ted is under the care of Dr. Goldberger of Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Ted will be back to training soon, after a brief recovery. Team Brandon will be training for Eagleman 70.3, their first half-ironman distance triathlon in June 2011.
