Vice Versa Triathlon was a big success. Team Brandon competed in the reverse triathlon starting the race with a 5 Kilometer run, followed by a 12 mile bike ride, then a 400 yard swim in the atlantic ocean for a scenic finish on the beach in front of Allenhurst Beach Club. Special thanks to Jersey Shore Multisport, Brielle Cyclery, Brielle Performance Center, and Miles Ahead Sports who all made this great race possible. Jersey Shore Multisport also made a contribution to Team Brandon to help support our goals. Thank you!

Brandon and Ted were disqualified at the Toys for Tots 5K that was hosted by the Freehold Area Running Club after being told by Race Director and club Treasurer Isabel Meldrum that Brandon would not be allowed to compete because he was in a wheelchair. Team Brandon competed anyway and was disqualified.

Brandon got out for the ORC 18th annual Reindeer Romp. This race was dedicated to friend and fellow athlete Mark Catalano who unexpectedly passed away earlier this year.

With Ted being sidelined with a fractured arm, Dave Slavinski of Brielle Performance Center stepped up and raced with Brandon. Not only did Brandon get to experience the thrill of competition, he experienced the thrill of victory. Dave crossed the finish line pushing Brandon in 16:17 for first place overall! A great day and special thanks to Dave.
