Team Brandon competed in the Pier Duathlon Long Branch, NJ. 2 mile run / 10 mile bike / 3 mile run. A great day for racing. Finish time 1:17. 12th place in our age group out of 24.

The 1st annual Team Brandon Evening of Wine and friends at the Spring Lake Manor was a huge success. Over 100 fans, friends, family, and supporters came to this wine tasting event to support our cause and enjoy the best wines that Bayway World of Wines had to offer. Special thanks to our ad book sponsors, Bayway Liquors, and Danny Geddes for making this a great night for everyone. 

In spring of 2010, 36 runners and 12 sponsors helped raise money to purchase a sports wheelchair for Samantha, an aspiring disabled athlete. Samantha was inspired to start playing wheelchair basketball after seeing a news segment about Team Brandon. 

On April 18, 2010, these runners celebrated their fundraising cause by running in the first ever UNITE Half Marathon held at Rutgers University. Samantha and her mother were on hand when Samantha was presented with her new wheelchair.
